Flooded Reflections

Early autumn reflections, River Spey, Aviemore

One from earlier this evening – its been a week of wind and rain, and as it reached towards the end of another dull day, I determined to get out and enjoy some of it, hoping for the evening sun to break through.  It did  for just a few minutes, as I happened to be near this creek which is normally an empty channel near the River Spey, flooded to maximum after this week’s rain.

I’ve been enjoying a cosy fire in the evenings this last week – now that jackdaw nest is out of the way…

This week – the Collective Conciousness

It may not be something you often think about, but we are all connected by an energetic web, a bit like the internet-web, and this collective conciousness can really rub off on you and deeply affect you.  This was illustrated yesterday when I received some disappointing news.  Before long I felt really terrible, listless, down in the dumps, and it as only with a friend reminding me that this isn’t ‘me’ that I realised what had happened, and ‘unplugged’ from the collective.  Within minutes my mood had returned to a more ‘normal’ level and I was able to deal with the day’s events.

When we experience negative emotions it is terribly easy for us to plug into this collective conciousness built up around society’s fears, and to stay stuck there.  Think of it like a ‘website’  that we visit in the collective-web, but once we’re on that website we start downloading all manner of other stuff that isn’t healthy for us, and can stay stuck there.  It can be very hard for us to get out of these situations by ourselves, since what we experience, we experience as ‘our own’ so do not question it.  Often-times what we feel does not belong to us.

It can be very good to start questioning!  What am I feeling? Why am I feeling this? Could I be feeling different?  Could I be feeling more vibrant, enthusiastic?  Start unplugging from the collective, and shifting your emotions upwards.  Cultivate good friends that you can call on, and trust!

I have found the work of Michele Fitzgerald to be amazingly helpful at clearing negative thoughtforms and belief codes.
