Lochan Mor, Rothiemurchus
Lochan Mor in the golden hour before sunset, on a perfect early autumn day of complete calm, and incredible clarity of light. This was a few weeks ago at the end of September – we haven’t had any days like this since! Its wonderful to experience such colour and clarity, a feeling of being at peace in-between the in breath and out breath in the cycle of the seasons.
“My place is placeless,
a trace of the traceless.
Neither body or soul.I belong to the beloved,
have seen the two worlds as one
and that one call to and know, first, last, outer, inner, only that
– from ‘Essential Rumi’ by Coleman Barks
breath breathing human being.”
