Through the mist

Happy New Year!

… and welcome to 2012.  After all the speculation and hysteria about the ‘end of the world’ next December we are finally here.  As I am sure everybody on this list is aware, if 2012 is about anything it is the end of one age of the Earth and the start of another.  Also, it is not an exact marker but is an indicator that we are in the middle of a gigantic period of change, and opportunity for creating a different way of doing things.  There are many positive signs coming through the undergrowth of people creating community, acting in the wider interest for the environment and the community, over purely personal gain.   In this way, everybody gains.

Our world will only change through the cumulative thoughts and actions of millions of individuals, and the more we all realise we are integral parts of the whole, that ‘out there’ is a reflection of the images we hold ‘in here’, that everything is consciousness, the more we will create the change we want to see.

“The Universe is not held together by gravity but by electro-magnetism.  Another word for electro-magnetism is soul, and another word for soul is consciousness.  Our Universe, all of the galaxies, all of the solar systems and individual planets are consciousnesses – we live in a conscious Universe.”

– Chris Thomas, ‘Synthesis’

  1. Lucky so-and-so you’ve got snow on them thar hills.

Looks like an excellent hill for a toboggan run.

Don’t worry about the end of the world that’s a long way off.

The next major series of planetary upheavals (social/ethnic)is scheduled for 2035 – early March.

Hey! Don’t look so sad, that’s 23 years away yet.
Until then we can still dance, sing and drink (but not too much).
