Golden Birch, Craigellachie woods, Aviemore
When the sunshine comes through the autumn birch, Craigellachie birchwood turns to gold. Its just a beautiful place and a lovely wee walk.
As somebody who is very energetically sensitive, I have come to realise (through the school of hard learning) that I constantly pick up not only on the emotions of those around me, but also on the ‘mass emotions’ of humanity, and the emotional state of our planet herself as a living Being. It takes constant work to check up on what I am feeling, and whether this is actually my own or not. It makes me increasingly aware that all of life is one energetic interconnected web, and how important it is that each of us attend to our own emotional health so that we are (a) actually aware of our emotional state and know how we can shift it to something more positive and (b) are not at the mercy of whatever is happening around us and (c) can start contributing a positive balance to the planetary mix. We can stay calm in the storm because we know who we are and are self-validating.
Neil, you are so bang-on with your comments this week. I have been finding exactly the same thing about the energy of those around me and the planet herself and so have many of the people in my life. I find myself constantly checking in to sift and sort so that I am not trying to deal with energy issues that are not mine. In fact, I have been sharing how to do this with other people.
