Aspen, Sangre de Cristo mountains, Colorado.

After a week of rain, wind, rain and wind, I thought I’d revert back a few years to some colour from the Sangre de Cristo mountains in Southern Colorado.  The intensity of colour was amazing.

I’m amazed we still have any leaves left after this week’s gales and battering, but the woods are still showing good colour between the rainstorms, so I’m hoping to get out there more this week.

A quote this week from the great master of landscape photography:

“There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer.”

— Ansel Adams, American photographer 1902 – 1984
