Autumn or winter?
Late autumn birch reflections with early snowfall, Craigellachie National Nature reserve, Aviemore. We had more rain and wind for most of the week, and then thursday dawned with blue skies, frost, and a surprise early snowfall.
Back at one of my favourite photography spots, loving the multiple layers with the orange reflecting birch, and the topping of foreground snow . Today, the hills are completely icing-sugar covered in snow.
Appreciating the elements:
“I arise today
Through the strength of heaven
Light of sun,
Radiance of moon,
Splendour of fire
Speed of lightning
Swiftness of wind,
Depth of sea
Stability of earth,
Firmness of rock.”
